Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of daily living care. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure health stability
• Support medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety guidelines
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping, cleaning duties, and proper manual handling techniques
• Use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document care activities accurately and efficiently
• Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs safely during transfers and mobility assistance

Requirements

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings preferred
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, geriatrics, and behavior management strategies
• Ability to assist with ADLs and provide personal care with compassion and professionalism
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as medication administration or manual handling are advantageous
