Duties

• Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
• Support residents with memory care needs related to Alzheimer's disease and dementia by implementing personalized care strategies
• Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to transfer clients with mobility challenges
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through routine cleaning and sanitation tasks
• Document care activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and report any changes in condition to supervising staff
• Engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being and social interaction
• Follow emergency procedures including first aid and CPR when required to ensure safety during incidents

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred
