Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities and personal care. Duties

• Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Support medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident areas and ensuring hygiene standards are upheld
• Document care activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems or other documentation tools
• Follow care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, including specialized dementia or Alzheimer's care strategies
• Support residents’ participation in social activities and community outings when appropriate
• Respond promptly to emergencies or changes in condition by following established protocols such as first aid or CPR procedures

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments preferred
