Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant

Provide comfort, dignity, and dependable support through the night.

Our client is seeking an experienced, compassionate caregiver to provide overnight support for a male client in Mission Viejo. The ideal caregiver is attentive, patient, and comfortable assisting with nighttime personal care and mobility needs.

Before you apply, make sure this is you

• At least 2 years of paid caregiving experience
• Experience supporting individuals with aphasia or communication difficulties
• Experience using a gait belt and providing safe ambulation assistance
• Able to safely assist a tall male client with mobility and personal care
• Familiarity with male PureWick use
• Comfortable providing attentive overnight care
• Willing to complete a criminal background check
• Reliable transportation to and from shifts
• Able to provide 3 professional references with valid phone numbers
• Willing to travel to Mission Viejo
• Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent care

Schedule & availability

• Sunday–Thursday nights, 8:00 p.m.–5:00 a.m. the following morning
• Up to 45 hours per week
• Full-time or part-time opportunities, depending on the nights you work

How you will support this client

• Patient, supportive communication and reassurance
• Overnight assistance with personal hygiene, toileting, and dressing
• Gait-belt assistance and support with safe ambulation
• Assistance with PureWick external urine collection device, including placement, removal, hygiene, emptying and cleaning the canister
• Checking and recording blood pressure as directed
• Attentive support with nighttime care and comfort needs

Pay & opportunity

• $22-24 per hour
