Caregiver

Job Summary

ProHealth Home Care is seeking a dependable and compassionate Caregiver for an active part-time client assignment in Yuba City, California.

The caregiver will provide non-medical assistance and support to help the client remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Responsibilities may include

• Assisting with activities of daily living and personal care
• Providing companionship and supervision
• Assisting with mobility and safe transfers, as appropriate
• Preparing simple meals
• Performing light housekeeping related to the client's care
• Providing reminders and assistance with the client's established daily routine
• Observing and reporting changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
• Completing required care documentation
• Maintaining the client's privacy, dignity, and safety

Specific duties will be based on the client's authorized care plan.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience is preferred; applicants with relevant personal or professional caregiving experience are encouraged to apply
• Dependable, professional, and able to communicate respectfully with clients, families, and supervisors
• Able to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Able to meet applicable California Home Care Aide registration and background-clearance requirements before providing services
• Able to meet applicable health and tuberculosis screening requirements
• Willing to follow the client's care plan and ProHealth Home Care policies and procedures
