Caregiver - PT Short Shift 1st & 2nd

We are looking for competent Caregivers to care for our residents in a professional and compassionate manner. We have part-time availability on first and second shifts for short shifts. We are also specially looking for a short first shift (7AM-11AM), and a short second shift (4PM-8PM), with opportunity to pick up hours! Our shift schedule is first shift (6AM-2PM), second shift (2PM-10PM), and third shift (10PM-6AM). It’s an often demanding job as you will have to assist in Activities of Daily Living. It can also be very satisfying and rewarding, since people who are, disabled or elderly are thankful for high quality assistance. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
