Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, compassionate Overnight Med Tech/Caregiver to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents during the overnight hours. The ideal candidate is caring, attentive, organized, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medications and document according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including toileting, dressing, grooming, transfers, and mobility.
• Perform routine safety checks and respond promptly to resident needs throughout the night.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns appropriately.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medications, care provided, and significant observations.
• Assist with repositioning and incontinence care as needed.
• Prepare light snacks or beverages for residents if requested.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including:
• Resident laundry and linens
• Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Washing dishes and maintaining a clean kitchen
• Emptying trash
• Restocking supplies
• Sanitizing frequently touched surfaces
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Provide a detailed shift report to the oncoming staff.
