Phoenician HomeCare is looking for compassionate, dependable Certified Caregivers to assist individuals who need support with everyday activities in their own homes.

Since 2018, our team has helped older adults maintain their independence and remain comfortable in familiar surroundings. We are seeking caring individuals who enjoy helping others, take responsibility for their work, and understand the importance of providing respectful, individualized care.

What You'll Do

As a Certified Caregiver, you'll help clients with everyday needs while following their individual service plans. Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Helping clients with walking, mobility, and transfers
• Providing assistance with toileting and incontinence needs
• Preparing meals and assisting with daily nutritional needs
• Offering companionship and participating in meaningful activities
• Providing medication reminders in accordance with the service plan and applicable regulations
• Performing light housekeeping and maintaining an orderly living space
• Accompanying clients to appointments or errands when needed
• Observing and communicating changes in client needs or well-being
• Helping maintain a comfortable and safe home environment

Our goal is to provide dependable assistance that allows clients to continue living at home with as much independence, comfort, and dignity as possible.

What We're Looking For

We welcome caregivers who are responsible, compassionate, and committed to providing quality in-home assistance.

Ideal candidates will have

• Current Arizona Certified Caregiver credentials, as applicable to the position
• A genuine interest in helping older adults and individuals who need daily assistance
• Patience, understanding, and a positive attitude
• Dependable attendance and professional communication
• Comfort providing hands-on personal care
• The ability to work independently in clients' homes
• Awareness of client safety and individual care requirements
• Availability for daytime and/or overnight assignments
• Ability to commit to shifts of at least 4 consecutive hours
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Previous experience in senior care, assisted living, or home care is a plus
