Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Aide to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have compassion in various settings such as nursing homes, senior care, assisted living, behavioral management including dementia and psychiatric care services. As a CNA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care. Supporting LICENSE NURSES in the tasks delegated for the overall health and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Monitor patients and keep safe practices.
• Establish a healthy communication with staff and residents.
• Access resident health records. Maintain HIPPA.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to help and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families.
• Assist with daily living activities for patients in nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills.

Requirements

• Valid CNA license in the state of practice.
• Experience in nursing home, senior care, or assisted living environments is preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as PCC is a plus.
• Strong knowledge and follow infectious disease care practices.
• Excellent patient service skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care while adhering to safety standards.
• Cultural Compliance Certificate

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
