Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) -Full-time 12-hour days and nights 7-7 as well as PRN to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will provide essential direct patient care in various settings, including long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, hospitals, and home care environments. Your compassionate presence and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using safe lifting practices and equipment like Hoyer lifts.
• Take and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
• Support patients with medication reminders and basic medication administration under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly using electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients with dementia or memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and behavioral health conditions.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to report changes in patient condition promptly and effectively.

Skills

• Proven experience working as a CNA or in similar caregiving roles within long-term care, hospitals, or assisted living facilities.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy relevant to patient care.
