Job Description

CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) — SNF

### Job Summary

Provides direct, hands-on care to residents during overnight hours, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity while supporting nursing staff in a skilled nursing facility.

️ Key Responsibilities ------------------------------

• Perform routine rounds (typically every 2 hours) to check resident safety and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) :

+ Toileting + Brief changes (incontinence care) + Repositioning/turning to prevent pressure injuries * Respond promptly to call lights and alarms * Transfer and ambulate residents using proper equipment (gait belts, lifts, etc.) * Monitor residents for changes in condition (pain, confusion, breathing issues) and report to nurse * Take and record vital signs as assigned * Maintain accurate charting/documentation * Ensure clean, safe environment (bed checks, clutter-free rooms, proper positioning) * Assist with early morning care (getting select residents up for day shift)
