Job Overview

Golfview Nursing Center is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our skilled nursing team. The CNA plays a vital role in providing quality resident care while promoting comfort, dignity, safety, and independence in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. We are looking for team members who are passionate about resident care and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility
  • Answer resident call lights promptly and provide courteous, compassionate care
  • Obtain and document vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other assigned observations
  • Assist residents with transfers, ambulation, and repositioning using proper safety techniques and equipment
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition, behavior, appetite, or skin integrity to the nurse immediately
  • Maintain accurate Point of Care (POC) charting and documentation before the end of shift
  • Assist with incontinent care and maintain resident dignity and cleanliness
  • Ensure resident rooms are clean, safe, and organized
  • Assist with meal service, hydration rounds, and resident transportation throughout the facility
  • Participate in fall prevention, skin integrity, and infection control measures
  • Attend assigned smoke breaks, meals, and activities according to assignment sheets and unit expectations
  • Follow all facility policies, HIPAA regulations, infection prevention standards, and safety procedures
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, therapy, dietary, social services, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality resident care

Qualifications

  • Active Florida CNA license in good standing
  • Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred
