Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Support residents with medication administration and monitor vital signs to ensure health stability
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care strategies
• Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to transfer residents or clients
• Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and sanitation tasks
• Support clients during outings or community activities by driving or accompanying them as needed
• Implement behavior management techniques for residents with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
• Follow all safety protocols including CPR and First Aid procedures to respond swiftly during emergencies

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or retirement homes is highly desirable
• Proven background in providing personal care in home & community care settings or group homes
• Experience assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring is essential
