Job Summary

Baxter Home Health, LLC, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Caregiver to join our team and provide exceptional support to our residents and clients. The caregiver must have reliable transportation and will serve the following areas: Private homes or nursing facilities in Annapolis, Edgewater, Bowie, Crofton, Severna Park, Glen Burnie, MD etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor patient observations by tracking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature
• Administer medications and document medical records accurately in Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Support individuals with specialized needs such as dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, memory care, or developmental disabilities through personalized care plans
• Provide assistance with medical procedures like catheter care, wound care, or hospice/end-of-life support under supervision of nursing staff
• Ensure safety by following home healthcare regulations and protocols; operate equipment like Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids safely
• Maintain a clean environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including laundry and meal preparation in accordance with health standards
