Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring the comfort and safety of those we serve. The Nursing Assistant will work closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to assist in the daily activities of patients, promoting their well-being and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Safely operate a Hoyer lift and assist clients using a gait belt.
• Monitor and report changes in the client's physical, emotional, and overall well-being.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with family members and supervisors.
• Requirements :
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (preferred or required).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of caregiving or CNA experience.
• Experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt.
• Knowledge of ADLs and safe patient care practices.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver's license or government-issued ID.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work every weekend or every other weekend

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
