Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Overview

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you’ll provide hands-on patient care and help people maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. You’ll work with nurses and other care team members to support daily needs, observe changes in condition, and document care accurately. Your impact: By delivering attentive care and sharing timely observations, you help patients and families feel supported and help the care team respond to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, mobility, and other activities of daily living.
• Measure and report vital signs
• Follow infection prevention practices, aseptic technique, and safe manual-handling procedures.
• Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and colleagues; protect confidentiality and follow Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements.
• Complete clear medical documentation and maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical record (EMR) or electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Experience

• Required: Current CNA certification and ability to provide compassionate, dependable patient care.
• Preferred: Experience in senior care, geriatrics, nursing homes, long-term or post-acute care, assisted living, home care, hospice, memory care, or Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
• Familiarity with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), or basic life support (BLS) is a plus.

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
