• Support medical procedures by preparing patients and assisting with tasks such as catheter care, wound care, or basic life support techniques.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner to update patient records promptly and accurately.
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support.
• Assist in patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices while maintaining proper aseptic techniques.
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols, HIPAA regulations, and safety standards across various care settings including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care.

Skills

• Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as ICU, emergency medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, or behavioral health settings.
