Certified Nursing Assistant

MUST BE CERTIFIED IN NORTH CAROLINA

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous service to patients
• Organize tasks in a safe and efficient manner
• Report changes in the patient's health condition
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Range of motion/exercises
• Transfers /use of mechanical lifting devices
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance

Qualifications

• Minimum one year work experience in any field
• High School Diploma/GED
• Completion of CNA program. Listing on Nursing-aide I registry
