Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts
• Support individuals with memory care needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care, by implementing personalized routines and behavior management strategies
• Monitor vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability and report any concerns promptly
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems protocols
• Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Provide transportation for appointments or outings by driving safely and adhering to all traffic laws
• Maintain detailed documentation of care activities, resident interactions, and health updates in compliance with facility policies

Skills

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments demonstrating familiarity with senior care and geriatrics
• Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer’s care techniques to support residents’ cognitive health and safety
