Job Summary

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a local facility offering quick placement opportunities. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients across various settings, including long-term care, assisted living, hospitals, and community-based environments.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using safe handling practices and equipment like Hoyer lifts.
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to support ongoing patient assessment.
• Support medication administration under supervision and ensure proper documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Provide specialized care for patients with complex needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or behavioral health conditions.
• Assist in patient transfers and positioning using aseptic techniques and manual handling best practices to prevent injury.

Skills

• Proven experience working as a CNA in diverse healthcare settings including hospitals (Level I Trauma Centers preferred), long-term care facilities, or home care environments.
• Experience caring for geriatric patients with dementia or memory care needs; familiarity with Alzheimer's care is highly valued.
• Ability to perform CPR and basic life support (BLS) confidently in emergency situations.
