Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; document findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems).
• Support medication administration under supervision or as trained, ensuring proper dosage and adherence to safety protocols.
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, implementing memory care techniques.
• Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and perform manual handling with safe lifting practices to prevent injury.
• Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sanitation procedures; adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in various settings including hospitals (ICU, trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, home care environments, and clinics.
