Concierge Care Collective

CHHA- Certified Home Health Aide

West New York, NJ, USPosted 17 days ago

Job Description

ABOUT US

Concierge Care Collective is a licensed New Jersey home care agency built on a straightforward idea: clients

should feel cared for the way family cares for family and the people providing that care deserve exactly the same

consideration.

We are hiring Certified Home Health Aides across Bergen and Hudson counties. We are early, deliberately small,

and building a different kind of home care company. The aides who join us now will set the standard for how care

is delivered here.

HOW WE LOOK AFTER OUR CAREGIVERS

We think the quality of care a client receives is downstream of how the caregiver is treated. So we start there.

  • Paid orientation and paid training, your time is worth paying for, including before your first shift
  • An RN Clinical Director you can actually reach when something changes with a client
  • Care plans built from real in-home assessments, so you know what you are walking into
  • Caseloads and schedules sized so you can do the job properly, not just quickly
  • Your observations go into the care plan — you see things the rest of us do not
  • Client matching that considers your skills, your location, and how you work
  • Flexible scheduling that respects the rest of your life
  • A referral program, because good aides know other good aides
  • A team small enough that the founders know your name

GROWING WITH US

We pay a straight hourly rate today. As the agency grows, a performance bonus comes in on top of it and the aides who helped build this will be first in line for the senior caregiver, mentor and scheduling roles we create along the way. We would far rather promote someone who already knows our clients than hire a stranger to lead them.

YOUR HOURS

We schedule PRN, part-time and full-time, typically between 10 and 40 hours a week. Tell us what you need and we will build around it whether that is a few steady shifts close to home or as near to full-time as we can fill.

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES

Personal care

  • Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and other personal care
  • Supporting safe mobility, transfers, positioning and fall prevention
  • Helping with meal preparation and eating, as the plan of care directs
  • Light housekeeping connected to the client's care

Companionship and observation

  • Providing company and conversation that makes the day better
  • Noticing changes in a client's condition and reporting them promptly
  • Following each client's individual plan of care
  • Keeping visit documentation accurate and on time

Dignity and communication

  • Protecting each client's privacy, safety and independence
  • Respecting each client's preferences, culture and daily routines
  • Communicating professionally with clients, families and the care team

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required

  • Active New Jersey CHHA certification in good standing
  • Kindness that holds up on a hard day
  • Dependability, clients and families are counting on you being there
  • Respect for each client's dignity, privacy, preferences and culture
  • Clear communication with clients, families and the care team
  • Ability to follow an individual plan of care and agency procedures
  • Ability to complete all required screenings, credentialing and onboarding

Welcome, but not required

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish — many of the families we serve speak Spanish at home
  • Reliable transportation, useful across a two-county service area
  • Experience with dementia care, hospice support, or recovery after surgery
  • Home care experience rather than facility experience

WHO WE THINK WILL THRIVE HERE

An aide who takes real pride in this work and has sometimes wished for an agency that took it as seriously as they do. Someone kind enough to notice that a client seems quieter than usual, and driven enough to say so. Someone who wants to help build something rather than clock in and out of it. If you have wanted to be part of a care team rather than a name on a schedule, we would like to meet you.

COMPENSATION AND DETAILS

  • $20.00 per hour, with a performance bonus introduced as the agency grows
  • PRN, part-time and full-time — typically 10 to 40 hours per week
  • Paid orientation and paid training
  • Referral program and flexible scheduling
  • In person, caring for clients across Bergen and Hudson counties
