Job Summary

Join the care team as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), providing attentive support during the 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. shift at Jacaranda Trace. You’ll help residents with daily activities, comfort, and safe mobility while respecting each person’s preferences and privacy. Your impact: Consistent, compassionate assistance helps residents maintain dignity, comfort, and independence throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, daily routines, and mobility according to their care plans.
• Check and report vital signs or changes in condition to the appropriate care team member.
• Use safe lifting and patient transfer methods, including a Hoyer lift when trained and directed.
• Support medication administration only as authorized and within applicable training and scope.
• Document care accurately, protect confidential information, and communicate clearly with residents, families, and colleagues.

Skills

• Required: Current CHHA or CNA credential applicable to the role and ability to provide respectful, dependable resident care.
• Preferred: Senior care, geriatrics, assisted living, long-term care, nursing home, home care, or post-acute care experience.
• Experience with dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory care, hospice, developmental disabilities, or individuals with disabilities is valuable.
• Familiarity with personal care, catheter care, manual handling, safe lifting, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and basic life support is helpful.
• Knowledge of patient confidentiality, medical documentation, medical terminology, and electronic health records (EHR) is a plus; experience with Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks is not required.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 12.0 per week
