Job Overview

As a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you’ll provide attentive, respectful care to clients in their homes and communities. This for a male client, shift is 10hours daily from 10 am to 8pm. You’ll support daily routines, observe changes in condition, and communicate clearly with clients, families, and care teams. Your impact: Consistent, compassionate care helps clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence while giving families greater confidence in their loved one’s daily support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, mobility, and safe patient transfers; use a Hoyer lift when trained and appropriate.
• Observe and report changes, check vital signs as assigned, and complete accurate medical documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) or electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Support medication administration only as permitted by role and applicable regulations; provide catheter care when trained and authorized.
• Prepare meals, cook, clean, and do laundry in line with the client’s care plan.
• Provide senior, dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory, hospice, and end-of-life care with sensitivity to individual needs.

Qualifications

• Patient care or caregiving experience; home health, home care, home and community care, home health agency, assisted living, nursing home, long-term care, or live-in experience is valued.
• Experience with geriatric patients and individuals with developmental disabilities or other disabilities is welcome.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records, patient observation, and patient transfer methods is helpful.
• Current first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or basic life support (BLS) credentials, as required for the role.
• Follow home healthcare regulations and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements; protect patient confidentiality. Ability to meet role-related heavy-lifting requirements.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
