Responsibilities

Provide basic nursing care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including vital signs, toileting, and feeding

Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

Observe and report changes in resident condition to licensed staff

Support resident safety and prevent injuries by following safety protocols and guidelines

Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement patient care plans

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress

Requirements

Current CNA certification in the State of Illinois

0-2 years of experience in a long-term care setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with minimal assistance

Must be able to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
