is a dedicated assisted living facility in Sturgis, SD, committed to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate team and help enhance the quality of life for those we serve.

Position Summary

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, and maintaining a safe and caring environment. You will work closely with nurses and caregivers to provide high-quality care while promoting dignity and independence for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning residents as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health conditions to nursing staff.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report observations to supervisors.
• Ensure residents’ living spaces are clean and comfortable.
• Follow all infection control and safety procedures.
• Foster a positive and respectful environment for residents, families, and team members.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a valid certification in South Dakota.
• Experience in an assisted living or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing quality care.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and assist residents as needed.
