Job Overview

Dorian Place is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing exceptional care and support to residents while promoting their dignity, independence, and overall well-being. This role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring health conditions, and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs as directed.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional conditions.
• Assist with medication reminders and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and resident records.
• Support residents in memory care, assisted living, and other care settings.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and resident privacy standards.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping as needed.
• Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare team members to deliver exceptional resident care.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Previous experience in caregiving, home care, assisted living, memory care, nursing home, or healthcare settings preferred. * Knowledge of basic healthcare practices, anatomy, and medical terminology is a plus. * Ability to accurately document resident information and follow care plans. * Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. * Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a genuine desire to help others. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. *...
