Elder Home Care Services is a privately owned agency serving patients in Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Okeechobee and Indian River counties. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) needed to care for patients in their residence. Immediate cases available in all areas. CNA/HHA Job Responsibilities Provide assistance with activities of daily living based on assessment and care plan provided by Registered Nurses and Physicians Performs other certified nursing assist and/or home health aide duties within the states policy guidelines Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment. Always exercises courtesy whenever patients, family members and visitors are present Demonstrates positive and professionalism on the job Demonstrates ongoing responsibility and commitment through good attendance and by being on time to work

Desired Qualifications

2+ years of experience

High school degree

Certified Home Health Aide, Certified Nursing Assistant

Respite Care, Personal Care, Live-In Home Care, Light Housecleaning, Transportation, Meal Preparation, Visiting Nurse, Visiting Physician, Hospice Services, Home Modification, Errands/Shopping, Quad, Vent, Trach, Feeding Tube, Hoyer Lift, Medical Transportation, Special Needs, Long Distance, Bathing/Dressing, Home Health, Dementia, Medication Management

CNA/HHA Caregivers MUST have the following documentation in place prior to registration;

Social Security Card

Proof of Authorization to Work in the US (if not a US citizen)

2 x Reference Information

Level 2 Background Screening (we look this up for you) - if you do not have a level 2 screening you can register

Statement of Good Health (Physical) - Dated within 6 months and stating Free from Communicable Diseases Professional Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain it)
