Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic health record systems like WellSky
• Support patients with disabilities by providing assistance tailored to their specific requirements.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and progress.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Nursing Assistant training program or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
• Experience in medical documentation practices.
• Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is preferred.
• Ability to perform vital signs monitoring accurately.
• Understanding of infection control practices.
• Previous experience in Dementia care is a plus.
• Compassionate attitude towards working with individuals with disabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
