Companion/Caregiver

SEEKING COLLEGE STUDENT // RECENT GRADUATE // ANY YOUNG ADULT

We are looking for a companion who is responsible, outgoing, would love accompanying a fun filled, young neurodivergent person who is very high functioning. You will be his buddy, companion and during your free time helping him with shopping, transportations, basic housekeeping, community events etc.

Responsibilities include

:

• Having a friendly conversation with the person and helping him improve on his social skills.
• Have a fun filled buddy time by taking him to nearby community events or parks for a walk and causal talk.
• Help him learn organization skills, tasks prioritization with daily tasks
• Talk to him about good habits such as eating healthy and exercising.

The companion must be

:

• 18 years of age or older
• Have a Social Security Number and is authorized to work in the USA.
• Motivated to work and support, high functioning neuro divergent young adult
• Has good communication skills.
• Must be able to clear background checks including Criminal History Record Name search, List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE) (The US Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG) maintains the LEIE. This list contains names of people with findings of program-related fraud, patient abuse or licensing board actions)

Hourly Rate

: $13.88/Hour

Pay Frequency

: Bi-Weekly, Direct Deposit in your Bank Account.

Expected Hours/Week

: 15-20 hrs/Week. We are very accommodative and flexible. We can accommodate early or late evening hours on week days, weekends are also very flexible.
