Position Overview

As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide non-medical support and companionship to seniors, helping enhance their quality of life through meaningful engagement and assistance with daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide companionship through conversation, reading, and active listening
• Engage clients in recreational activities and hobbies for social stimulation
• Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
• Offer timely medication reminders
• Encourage safe, mild exercise and mobility
• Perform light housekeeping (dusting, sweeping, mopping)
• Assist with laundry and linens (washing, folding, ironing)
• Provide shopping assistance (groceries, clothing, errands)
• Plan and prepare meals based on dietary needs and preferences
• Provide incidental transportation (appointments, errands, social visits)
• Assist with personal care supervision (bathing, toileting, dressing)
• Monitor and report changes in client condition or behavior
• Accurately document services provided according to company policies
• Communicate any scheduling or assignment changes promptly

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three professional references
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a nationwide background check and drug screening

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
