Join us! Our mission at Rainbow Adult Living Facilities is to support quality lifestyles for adults with developmental disabilities. We operate five group homes throughout Portland where residents learn life skills and are encouraged to pursue their individual interests.

Right now, we have positions open for Direct Support Professionals. We are seeking confident, unique, creative and dependable employees with the desire to assist the people we serve to live healthy and fulfilling lives both at home and in their community.

Job responsibilities include

• Delivering both formal and informal skill building in daily living activities.
• Supporting the goals outlined in each client’s individual support plan.
• Supervising and monitoring activities in order to assure the client’s health and safety.

Job requirements

• Ability to adhere to the mission of respecting and responding to the choices of people with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to exercise patience and understanding.
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
• Ability to pass criminal background check per State of Oregon standards.
• Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills.

The starting hourly pay range is $20.00 for no experience and up to $21.50 depending on experience.

Full-time is considered 30 hours per week in a regular position.
