Evening Caregiver - Tomah

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of long-term care for evenings! As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This position involves working in various private residences. Your primary focus will be on client monitoring, meal preparation, housekeeping, and providing assistance with daily living activities.

Duties

• Direct client care
• Help clients with ADL’s, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
• Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, blood sugar, oxygen level and pulse
• Assist with medication reminders and maintain accurate medication records
• Provide emotional support to clients and their families
• Maintain a clean and safe client environment

- Assist with bedtime routines

Skills/Qualifications

-Driver's License - Required.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of basic healthcare procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds with proper body mechanics
• Experience working in a nursing home, assisted living facility, or medical office is preferred

Other

- Exceptional housekeeping skills

- Ability to prep simple meals

- Self-motivated, thinks outside of the box

- Openings in the Tomah area

- Evenings and weekends available!
