Evening Shift CNA

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/CNA to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional resident-centered care across various settings, including long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. You will help improve the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs, including seniors with memory care requirements. Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices
• Monitor vital signs, record medical information accurately in health records, and report changes to the healthcare team promptly
• Maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques
• Support patients with specialized needs, including dementia, Alzheimer's, behavioral health challenges, and developmental disabilities
• Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and foster a trusting caregiver-patient relationship

Requirements

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in memory/cognitive impairment settings such as dementia or Alzheimer's care
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices
• Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting (Hoyer lift), transferring patients, and standing for extended periods
• Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care
• Prior experience is advantageous; experience in hospice or home & community care is a plus
