Experienced Caregiver

Hand of Hope LLC is seeking experienced, compassionate, and dependable caregivers to join our growing team in Indiana. We provide non-medical, in-home care services to individuals who need assistance with everyday activities while maintaining their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

We are specifically hiring caregivers who have reliable transportation and are willing to travel to clients located outside Marion County, Indiana.

The ideal candidate is patient, professional, reliable, and passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and social interaction.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Support clients with mobility and daily routines.
• Assist with errands and appointments as authorized by the client's care plan.
• Follow individualized care plans and ensure clients receive quality, compassionate care.
• Observe and report changes in clients' health, behavior, or overall well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and management.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and comfortable home environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements

• Previous professional or private-duty caregiving experience is required.
• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Must submit to and pass a TB (tuberculosis) test.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from client locations.
• Must be willing and able to travel outside Marion County, Indiana.
• Must demonstrate dependability, professionalism, and punctuality.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to follow care plans, instructions, and company policies.
• Must be compassionate, patient, and respectful of client confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or clients requiring assistance with daily living.
• Familiarity with Indiana Medicaid waiver programs or home and community-based services.
• Experience providing homemaking, attendant care, or personal care services.
