Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team at our assisted living facility. The HHA provides high-quality personal care and assistance to residents while promoting their independence. dignity, comfort, and overall well-being. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulatior using proper safety techniques.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional condition to the nursing staff.
• Take and record vital signs as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents.
• Encourage residents to participate in social, recreational, and wellness activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support while respecting residents' privacy and dignity.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry related to resident care.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately document care provided and complete required reports.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations.

Qualifications

• Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, home care, or a healthcare setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely.
• Must pass required background screening and meet state employment requirements.
