Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those with developmental disabilities, chronic illnesses, or those requiring hospice care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Help with mobility and transfers, including lifting clients safely as needed.
• Monitor and record vital signs to ensure client health is maintained.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
• Administer catheter care and other medical tasks as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to HIPAA regulations at all times.
• Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams regarding client needs and changes in condition.
• Support clients with daily activities in assisted living settings or at home.

Experience

• Familiarity with CPR techniques and basic first aid is advantageous.
• Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Knowledge of hospice care practices is beneficial for providing compassionate end-of-life support.
• Ability to perform tasks that require physical strength, including lifting clients safely when necessary.
• CNA certification or home care experience

Job Requirements
