Job Summary

As a Home Health Aide & Caregiver, you’ll provide respectful, practical support to clients in their homes and communities. You’ll assist with daily routines, observe changes in well-being, and communicate clearly with clients and care teams. Your impact: By supporting safe daily care and sharing observations promptly, you help clients and families navigate care with greater confidence.

Duties

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, mobility, and patient transfers.
• Support meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, and laundry while respecting each client’s preferences and home.
• Observe and report changes in condition; check vital signs and complete medical documentation and records as assigned.
• Provide medication assistance, catheter care, memory, dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, and end-of-life care within your training and applicable rules.
• Follow home health care regulations, protect confidentiality under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and use safe practices when lifting or providing care.

Skills

• Required: Compassionate caregiving, patient care, client communication, patient observation, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Relevant experience may include home health, home care, home and community care, home health agency, assisted living, nursing home, long-term care, live-in employment, senior care, geriatrics, geriatric patients, or individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities.
• First aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and basic life support (BLS) knowledge or certification is preferred; follow role and local requirements.
• Experience with medication administration, ADLs, patient transfer methods, vital signs, and specialized care is valued.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
