We are currently hiring for the following schedule

8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (12-hour shifts), 3 shifts a week

Weekday and weekend availability is preferred.

Job Summary

Rarejem Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one care for an adult patient in the home setting. This position offers consistent 12-hour shifts and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a patient's quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Assist with toileting and incontinence care
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Assist with transfers using a Hoyer lift (training provided if needed)
• Reposition the patient to prevent skin breakdown
• Assist with range-of-motion exercises as directed
• Observe and report changes in the patient's condition to the supervising nurse
• Complete accurate daily documentation
• Provide companionship while promoting patient comfort and independence

Qualifications

• Illinois CNA certification or Home Health Aide experience preferred
• Experienced caregivers are encouraged to apply
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check
• Professional, dependable, and compassionate
• Must be reliable

Experience with paraplegic, Hoyer lifts, or total-care patients is a plus but is not required.
