Empower Care, LLC is a Colorado-licensed home care agency based in Aurora, providing homemaker, personal care, and In-Home Support Services. We help clients live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes, and we treat our caregivers with the same respect we give our clients.

About the Role

As a Homemaker, you'll help clients keep a clean, safe, and comfortable home so they can continue living independently. This role focuses on household support rather than hands-on personal care. You'll follow each client's care plan and work under the guidance of our PCW/Homemaker Supervisor.

No experience? No problem.

We provide training for dependable, caring people who take pride in their work.

Responsibilities

• Perform light housekeeping, such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
• Do laundry, change linens, and make beds
• Plan and prepare meals, and clean up afterward
• Run errands, such as grocery shopping and picking up supplies
• Keep walkways and living areas clear to help prevent falls
• Offer companionship and friendly conversation
• Follow the client's care plan and respect their home, preferences, and privacy
• Document visits and tasks accurately and on time
• Report changes in a client's condition, safety concerns, or incidents to your supervisor promptly

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Able to pass a criminal background check and CAPS check
• Able to complete agency training and competency evaluation
• Reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
• Able to communicate clearly with clients, families, and agency staff
• Able to bend, reach, and lift household items
• [Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if required for errands]

Preferred

• Experience in housekeeping, home care, or caregiving
• Experience working with older adults or people with disabilities
