Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated HHA/ CNA to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including long-term care facilities, hospice care, and memory care units. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
• Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Support patients with daily living activities such as eating, toileting, and laundry tasks.
• Observe and report on patient conditions, including any changes in behavior or health status.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Engage with patients in meaningful ways to promote emotional well-being and social interaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or as a Nursing Assistant is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial for effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Knowledge of hospice care practices and memory care techniques is desirable.
• Ability to perform basic cooking tasks for patients as needed.
