We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, including those receiving hospice care or residing in assisted living facilities or nursing homes. Your commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Maintain cleanliness in the client’s living space to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including helping clients move around their home or accompanying them to appointments.
• Follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals to meet individual client needs.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance caregiving skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home care, hospice care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of patient observation techniques and medical documentation practices.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment while providing high-quality care.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
