Home Health Aide (Part-Time Nights)

Long Lake Assisted Living is a 42-bed assisted living facility located in the western suburbs of Minneapolis in Long Lake, MN currently searching for Home Health Aide

*** Part Time Night** shifts 10:30pm-6:30am (All shifts include every other weekend)

***** Must be able to work a schedule that includes occasional weekends, holidays and evenings

*** Starting HHA wage is $25.00/hr** overnights

Preferred Qualifications

***** HHA experience or TMA experience or Nursing Assistant experience or CNA certification preferred but not required

***** Experience in medication administration

***** Proficiency in patient observation and senior care

***** Ability to provide quality home & community care

***** Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction

Home Health Aides responsibilities include

***** Administering medications and giving reminders to residents as required according to the Medication Administration Record (MAR) and as delegated by the RN Supervisor

***** Assisting residents with activities of daily living as indicated on their individual service agreement (including, but not limited to dressing, showering, grooming, toilet assistance, escorting and meal times) as well as basic housekeeping functions

***** Documenting any changes in residents' condition in the resident chart and communication log. Reporting these changes to the RN Supervisor
