FirstLight Home Care is seeking caring and reliable Homemakers, PCAs, HHAs, and Companion Caregivers to support clients in their homes throughout Newport, RI.

If you enjoy helping others and making everyday life easier for seniors and adults who need assistance, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Help clients with daily routines and nonmedical personal care as appropriate.
• Support client comfort, dignity, and independence.

Requirements

• Caring, dependable, and respectful attitude.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA certification is not required for this non-skilled position.

Pay: $20/hour.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Must complete a pre-employment 10-panel drug screening.
• Must complete the required BCI background check before the first shift.
• A $45 upfront fee is required for the BCI background check and will be fully reimbursed after 90 days of employment.
