Hospice: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), FT M-F days & no wknds (South Central)

The Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant is primarily responsible for helping with personal care needs including baths, medication administration, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linen as often as assigned.

Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) *for Hospice*

Hourly Wage: $20.00 - $25.00 an hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Full - Time, 1.0 FTE / Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (no weekends, evenings or on-call)

Service Area: South Central (coverage area: Edina, Eden Prairie, and Prior Lake). Plus, mileage reimbursement of 72.5 cents per mile.

Position Functions & Responsibilities

• Performing personal care needs after given a patient's assignment and attending to his/her requests promptly. If unable to perform a certain task, report to the Case Manager immediately
• Providing patient and family with positive communication techniques, within realm of ethical and respectful care, including confidentiality
• Meeting safety needs of patient and using equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, O2)
