IHS- In Home Support Caregiver/ DSP

*This is NOT a homecare or group home position. Services are provided at clients homes or community settings.

Responsibilities: - Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting - Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration - Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans - Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times - Foster a positive and supportive environment for individuals to promote their independence and socialization - Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and individual progress

Experience: - Previous experience in patient care, such as working in a nursing home, assisted living facility, or childcare setting - Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care is highly desirable - Knowledge of resident rights and HIPAA regulations is preferred - First aid certification is a plus
