Job Responsibilities

As a Direct Care Worker, you will assist clients with daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Meal planning and meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and emotional support
• Grocery shopping and errands (when authorized)
• Community outings and transportation (when authorized)
• Assisting with mobility and transfers
• Maintaining accurate daily documentation
• Clocking in and out using the agency's Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system
• Reporting changes in client condition to the office immediately

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license (preferred for many cases)
• Ability to pass all required background screenings
• Ability to lift, bend, and assist clients as needed
