Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home health aides in Nassau county to provide personalized, high-quality care to individuals in a home setting. This vital role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and supporting their overall well-being.

Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs tailored to their health requirements
• Provide companionship and emotional support to foster social engagement and mental well-being
• Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents in compliance with privacy standards

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Elderly clients in a private setting.
• Must live in Nassau County, Long island
• 2 references from previous private eldercare clients
• Valid Drivers License and a reliable vehicle
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and geriatrics is highly desirable
• Ability to perform patient monitoring, assist with ADLs, and support clients personal needs effectively
• Strong communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams
