In Home Caregiver

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with complex medical needs, and possess a strong commitment to enhancing quality of life through attentive and respectful care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities, health management, and emotional support.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Administer medication reminders and monitor health status as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.
• Support clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments if needed.
• Follow care plans accurately and communicate any changes or concerns to supervising healthcare teams.
• Maintain detailed documentation of care provided and client progress.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients.

Requirements

• Prior experience in healthcare settings such as Level II trauma centers, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or similar environments is preferred.
• Experience working within Level I Trauma Centers, PICU, OR settings, geriatrics, medical-surgical units, inpatient facilities, teaching hospitals, post-acute care, outpatient clinics, or sub-acute care environments is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to follow detailed care instructions and adapt to changing needs efficiently.
• Certification in CPR or first aid is a plus; willingness to obtain relevant certifications if not already held.
• Valid driver’s license preferred for transportation responsibilities.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality in-home care services.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
