The Bismarck office of Home Helpers of North Dakota, a brand that has served families since 1997, is hiring caregivers for days and overnights. No experience is required. We pay you to train. Pay is $18 to $22 an hour with a 401(k) match, and full-time caregivers get real health insurance: a Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO with 80% of the medical premium paid, plus dental and vision with 100% of the premium paid. That is more than $400 a month we pay toward your coverage.

What you get

Pay

$18.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on experience and availability.

What you will do

• Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and moving safely around their home. Some clients use a Hoyer lift; we train you.
• Accurately document client care activities and maintain client appointment calendar.
• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration) to ensure client stability
• Prepare meals, do light housekeeping and laundry.
• Give medication reminders (or administer medication) and help clients keep their routine.
• Drive clients to appointments and errands. Mileage is reimbursed.
• Keep clients company and notice when something changes.
• Clock in and out at each visit with our phone app. No smartphone? We have another way to clock in.

What we need from you

• 18 or older and eligible to work in the United States.
• A caring, dependable nature. You show up when the client expects you.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance.
• Able to pass a background check and driving-record check.
• Able to help clients stand, walk and transfer.
• CNA or caregiving experience is welcome but not required. We provide the training you need.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
